Kitchen:
Here you will find all the comforts of
home with the real feel of a farm.
The spacious farm kitchen offers you a
complete range of crockery, cutlery (12 sets), a stove, fridge and
microwave.
A separate scullery with ironing
facilities and big washbasins for those who need to do some hand washing
is next to the main kitchen. During the week laundry facilities will be
available at an extra cost, but not over weekends or public holidays.
Kleine Vallei's accommodation is fully
self-catering although breakfast and barbeque baskets (raw) or picnic
baskets (fully cooked/prepared) are available on request. It will be
appreciated if you enquire about these when you book your accommodation.
As we are far from the nearest town and
shops you will have to bring enough of your own food and drinks.

Dining
and living room:
From the kitchen you walk into the lounge
and dining room with roof fans and open fireplace.
The dining table creates the ideal place
to entertain in style.
The doors in the living room open into
the front garden. From here you can either relax on the couch or watch
some television (SABC 1, 2, 3 and E-Tv).
The central feature of the room is the
fireplace which reflects the individual style of the interior. With the
glowing embers a welcoming appeal is unrivalled - it brings instant heat
as well as character to the lounge. All firewood is supplied by us.

Main bedroom
(Butterfly):
The main bedroom has a double-bed with
roof fan and en-suite bathroom. What a
better
way to start the day - lovely morning sunrays and the call of the
peacock to indicate that the day has begun!
A double bed with crispy white or cream
linen with pink butterfly patterns or pink decorations establishes a
fresh feel.
Cushions and a rug add the finishing
touches. An armchair was added, but in order to match the rest of the
decor it was covered with a loose pink throw.
The en-suite bathroom is fully equipped
with bath, shower and toilet. Here you will find bath and hand towels,
bath-, shower- and toilet mats, handmade soap, hand wash liquid, toilet
paper, toilet spray and hair dryer.

statement of it's own, you'll find the "Dragon-fly" bedroom. A picture
of simplicity - this bedroom is clutter free with only a few furniture
pieces, including a ceiling fan and lovely couch to provide an
opulent feel, fit for a king! It provides a scenic view into the front
garden.
The room contains two single beds, each
fully equipped and styled with soft white or lilac bedding. Handmade
soap and bath- and hand towels are provided for each person. Between the

Third bedroom (African):
A combination of coffee, chocolate and
cream are intermingled here.
This room with its decorative light and
outside door leading to the back garden gives you a great view of the
night sky. "There is something wonderfully romantic about sleeping near
the stars...". A double bed, cupboard and wardrobe fills the room.
From your bed you have a view of the
private and serene back garden where some citrus trees grow. In season,
you can almost pick fruit without leaving the room!
Handmade soap as well as bath and hand
towels are provided for each person.

Fourth bedroom (Children's):
To accommodate growing children, one room
was kept open for that purpose, although adults will be able to nestle
here as well. It has two single beds, baby cot and a roof fan.
A toy box with toys and reading books
will keep the little ones busy for a while. A roof fan helps with the
summer heat.
From this room you have a view of the
front garden which is bordered with impressive, mature trees in a blaze
of colors.
As with all the other bedrooms, each
person is supplied with bath and hand
towels as well as a bar of handmade soap.

Bathrooms:
The "purple and teal" bathroom is shared
by all guests except for those using the main bedroom, which has its own
en-suite bathroom. Combining elements of old and new, the enormous
bathroom displays a magnificent big bath tub and a lovely shower. Nearby
is a separate washbasin.
Here you can relax and regenerate
frazzled nerves and steal away to claim a few precious moments for
yourself after a long day.
Next to the bathroom is a separate

Garden and outside barbecue:
Over the past years the garden of this
house has evolved so much that today there is an area to sit back and
relax in comfort, one part to enjoy a little solitude, another to escape
from the heat of the summer sun. Or to entertain and dine by candle or
fire light..
At the edge of the garden an orange
orchard starts and leads you to a fenced field with springbuck and sometimes
duiker.
Towards the back of the house is a small
private garden with a big roofed stoep (porch) with barbecue facilities.
We supply all the wood, barbecue grids and firelighters.
